• $13 million, largest sustained non-medical malpractice personal injury verdict in New York State.
• $5 Million + verdict for police officer for psychological damages after it was proven at trial that the NYPD refused to change his work schedule to enable him to obtain needed psychiatric counseling.
• We settled a case in New York County on behalf of our brain damaged client after several days of testimony in front of the Honorable Walter Tolub, for $3.45 Million Dollars.
  • The case involved a profoundly brain damaged itinerant worker from Massachusetts who was taken to New York to work at disassembling a storage rack system. As a consequence of his severe head injury, he had no memory of the event and the defendants chose to blame him for his accident claiming he was a recalcitrant worker who failed to follow safety guidelines and on this particular occasion, failed to utilize a safety harness.
    We were able to convince the Judge and jury otherwise and after a liability finding on our clients behalf, the case quickly settled for the available policy limits of the culpable defendant.
• In an action involving a delivery man injured in a trip and fall accident in a parking lot where he claimed an object was placed in his path, a $3 Million verdict was obtained after a six-week week trial where over 20 witnesses testified.
• Roadway design case against the County of Nassau settled for $1,850,000. The case involved a young girl who was a passenger in a motor vehicle that lost control and hit a pole on a road that had been tested by the County prior to the accident and found to have some problems with vehicles being unable to safely negotiate that section of the roadway.
• $1.3 Million settlement obtained at a mediation for young child whose fingers were mangled in a paper shredder with a defective guard.
• $1.2 Million verdict obtained in action against the Board of Education when an elementary school girl choked to death outside of a classroom with school attendant standing by.
•  $900,000 settlement obtained for NYC Firefighter injured in the line of duty.
•  $850,000 settlement obtained for passenger in a motor vehicle accident where a NYC DOT vehicle ran through a red light at an intersection.
• $800,000 settlement obtained for the family of a motorcyclist who was killed after hitting a defect in the roadway caused by negligent re-paving.
• An 11 year old boy plummeted 14 floors through an elevator shaft. By means of an expert whom we retained, we were able to prove that the fatal fall took 2.8 seconds, thereby obtaining a settlement of $725,000, which is one of the highest settlements ever achieved in a "fear of impending death" case involving an infant.
• $610,000 settlement obtained for a NYC Firefighter injured in the line of duty.
• Illegal immigrant falls off stairs at her residence, sustaining severe leg injuries. Settled at trial for $600,000.
